Shooter is a Classic!

Monday, February 4th, 2008

I didn’t even see this blog post when it was originally published but my wife stumbled over it tonight and I thought I’d share. Shooter in the Abstract is apparently one of the 10 Classic Free Games for Mac. Really!

I’d a proud papa!

Remember, it’s a free game so if you haven’t tried it yet you should! It’s fun and stuff.

Shooter Still Going Strong

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

I’m amazed at how much traffic ‘Shooter in the Abstract‘ still gets. The downloadable versions (Mac and Windows combined) are still serving up over 1,000 downloads a month. This month it’ll come in about 1,300 or so.

Not bad for a free game that had almost zero marketing effort!

If you’re new to this blog and weren’t aware of the game, go check it out! It’s kinda fun.

High Score!

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

I play  ‘Shooter in the Abstract‘ once in a while and I still enjoy it.  I got on a roll this morning though and busted out a personal high score!  I’ve never been anywhere near this sort of score before:

It’s time to release the first version of the Sekrit Project, also known as ‘Shooter In The Abstract’.  This is a simple little shooter arena game where you basically just try to stay alive.

You have a few options for how to play.  You can:

Play it in your web browser

Download it for Mac OSX

Download it for Windows

It’s free and yours to enjoy forever!
